Parental Consent for Online Learning

Purpose

Monse-Heart Education LLC offers online educational programs, workshops, webinars, and other virtual learning opportunities designed to support individuals, families, organizations, and communities through structured education. 

This Parental Consent for Online Learning explains how minor participants may access and participate in Monse-Heart’s online learning environment and outlines the responsibilities of parents or legal guardians. 

Online Learning Environment

Monse-Heart strives to provide a safe, respectful, and engaging online learning experience for all participants. 

Depending on the program, participants may: 

  • Access online learning materials 
  • Participate in live virtual workshops or classes 
  • Join webinars and educational discussions 
  • Complete learning activities and assignments 
  • Communicate with Monse-Heart educators through approved learning platforms 

All participants are expected to follow the Monse-Heart Participant Code of Conduct while engaging in online educational activities.

Parent or Legal Guardian Consent

If your child is under 18 years of age, you acknowledge and consent to your child’s participation in Monse-Heart’s online educational programs. 

This includes permission for your child to: 

  • Create an online participant account when required 
  • Access educational resources and learning materials 
  • Participate in virtual classes, workshops, webinars, and educational activities 
  • Communicate with Monse-Heart educators using approved online platforms 

Parent and Participant Responsibilities

Parents or legal guardians are encouraged to: 

  • Review program expectations with their child. 
  • Help ensure that login credentials remain secure. 
  • Encourage participation from an appropriate learning environment whenever possible. 
  • Notify Monse-Heart of any concerns related to their child’s participation. 

Participants are expected to use Monse-Heart’s online platforms responsibly and in accordance with the Participant Code of Conduct.

Privacy and Data Protection

Monse-Heart Education LLC is committed to protecting the privacy of all participants and handling personal information responsibly. 

Participant information collected in connection with online learning is used to administer educational programs, communicate with participants and families, and provide access to learning resources in accordance with the Monse-Heart Privacy Policy. 

Where applicable, Monse-Heart will comply with relevant privacy and data protection laws governing the collection, use, storage, and processing of participant information, including laws designed to protect the privacy of minor participants. 

Parents or legal guardians may contact Monse-Heart at any time with questions regarding the collection or use of their child’s personal information. 

Withdrawal of Consent

You may withdraw your child’s participation in Monse-Heart’s online learning programs at any time by submitting a written request to Monse-Heart Education LLC. 

Withdrawal of consent may result in the loss of access to online learning materials, virtual sessions, and other educational services associated with the program. 

Parent or Legal Guardian Acknowledgment

By allowing your child to participate in Monse-Heart’s online educational programs, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Parental Consent for Online Learning. 

If you have questions or wish to withdraw your consent, please contact Monse-Heart Education LLC in writing. Continued participation in Monse-Heart’s online educational activities indicates your ongoing acceptance of this policy and any future updates.
